SambazaSoko SMS Ads Service allows consumers to POST Classified Adverts on our Website without the need of a computer or Internet access. Using the Mobile Phone Short Message Service (SMS), the Sender texts in advert and sends it to 5008.

The service is currently connected to the Safaricom® Network ONLY.

SMS Advert received by our system is then Listed on our website SambazaSoko.com for 30-Days. SMS is charged @ Kshs. 100 above normal operator charges for 160 characters.

How It Works:

1. Text in “Your_ADVERT - CATEGORY, Your - ADVERT” on your phone & SMS to 5008.
2. The service costs Kshs. 100/= above normal operator’s fee and is automatically deducted from the customer’s credit. (charge is per SMS advert sent & is listed for 30-Days)
3. You'll receive a confirmation text message to verify that your ad has been received by our system.
4. Your advert is then posted on SambazaSoko.com. It will first be viewable by signed up members (Membership is FREE) as SMSads_RAW (Link below the Top Banner).
5. The advert is then listed for 30-Days in the SMS Advert category if it complies with our T&C. SMS Ads received after 6pm gets approved the following day.
6. Visit our website to view your advert.

CATEGORY

Define a Category that best fits what you are advertising. Please note that categories that are completely unrelated to the advert might not target the audience you want.

SMS LENGTH

Each SMS sent should not exceed 160 characters in length. Adverts longer than 160 characters gets split up and will display as multiple adverts.
